During this year's Wikimania scholarship review process, reviewers noticed that some applications used artificial intelligence (e.g. ChatGPT) to answer scholarship questions.

This raises many questions:
Is it acceptable to use AI to answer these questions? Where do we draw the line for using it? Are AI-generated response considered to be genuine? Why do the applicants think they need to use this tool? Will it create an arms race between those who use and those who don't? Will it create an uneven playing field between applicants who can afford to pay to use paid-version of AI and those who cannot pay and have to use the free version?

In this panel discussion, we have representatives who reviewed scholarships from different regions to share their thoughts on the use of AI tools to answer Wikimania scholarship questions.

This session will equip Wikimedia affiliates with the tools and insights needed to effectively demonstrate their impact and tell compelling stories about their work. We will explore how affiliates can craft narratives that resonate with current and potential external partners, including donors, organizations, and community members, to promote long-term sustainability. The session will feature case studies, best practices, and practical tips on using data to showcase impact.

Avec la croissance exponentielle des internautes et face aux dangers de la désinformation, le mouvement wiképédia demeure toujours la plateforme collaborative de référence pour avoir de la bonne information car elle est basée sur des sources fiables en fait de la question du droit d'auteur son cheval de batail. Cette session vise à explorer les défis actuels et futures auquels est confronté le mouvement wikipédia et de jeter les jalons des perspectives et approches nouvelles pour redynamiser la communauté.
