Sessions
Climate change and the environment have been topics of impact around which Wikimedia communities have developed interesting campaigns, projects, and partnerships in recent years. Within this framework, the Working Group on Climate Justice and Wikimedia Projects in Latin America, in collaboration with UNEP and the Wikimedia Foundation, is proposing a side event ahead of Wikimania to explore how the Wikimedia Movement can contribute to international efforts aimed at promoting climate change information integrity.
This panel will serve as a space to share the key discussions that will take place during the side event, as well as to invite strategic allies like UNEP and members of the Wikimedia community to exchange reflections and ideas for future collaboration—particularly from a South-South cooperation perspective.
