Starting as a rapid response during the pandemic, my colleagues and I at Creative Commons Indonesia (CCID) initiated an OER project to support educators in creating safe digital learning materials and utilizing openly licensed content. The overwhelming enthusiasm from educators in Indonesia motivated me to continue this initiative in the following years. Currently, I serve as the OER Project Manager at CCID for 2024–2025, which is funded by the Wikimedia Alliance Fund, and also as the Chapter Lead of Creative Commons Indonesia.
Session
"How Can Collaboration Accelerate OER Adoption in the Process of Building a Sustainable Ecosystem?" This session will explore collaborative strategies that have been implemented to expand OER adoption in Indonesia, ranging from cross-sector partnerships to training educators in campaigning for, creating, and utilizing open educational resources.
This session serves as a platform for sharing experiences, exchanging practical insights, and discussing challenges in OER implementation. We hope participants will find inspiration, gain easily applicable strategies, and establish new partnerships to strengthen OER adoption across educational institutions and communities.
