Mariana Fossatti
Mariana Fossatti is the Decolonizing Wikipedia co-lead of Whose Knowledge? She is a feminist and a free/libre culture activist from Uruguay, and a long term Wikimedian. Previously, Mariana has been working with Whose Knowledge? for 4 years as our #VisibleWikiWomen campaign coordinator. Her background is in sociology and she has a master’s degree in Society and Development from the Universidad de la República, Uruguay. She co-founded the digital cultural centre Ártica in 2011, and co-founded the Uruguayan chapters of Creative Commons and Wikimedia in 2013. She has worked in the APC Women Rights Programme, amplyfing women voices in tech on GenderIT.org blog. When not sharing knowledge or tech tips and tricks with other feminists, you can find her in front of her collage table, figuring out how to finish several work-in-progress pieces.
Sunshine Fionah Komusana (she/her) is the Decolonizing Wikimedia co-lead and the campaign coordinator for #VisibleWikiWomen at Whose Knowledge?. She is an Afrikan Feminist, lawyer, activist and researcher from Uganda, joining Whose Knowledge? from Akina Mama wa Afrika (AMwA) — a Pan-African Feminist Leadership Development Organization based in Kampala Uganda, where she worked as a Program Associate for Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights. Her work within the African Feminist movement extends to providing legal aid services, connecting survivors of violence to legal support, therapy services and shelters, doing advocacy work, legal/policy analysis, and research on violence against women and girls and reproductive justice. She is the winner of the World Bank Blogs for Development Contest, 2016 and an alumna of The African Women’s Leadership Institute (AWLI) and The African Feminist Macroeconomic Academy. She is also contributing writer to feminist platforms; African Feminism and Lakwena. When she is not behind her desk, she is either buried in a book or tweeting for the revolution @komusana.

In this upload sprint we will share with the world the photos taken at the Wikimania #VisibleWikiWomen photo booth. At the same time, we will discuss consent, visibility/invisibility issues, structured data and accessibility, making sure that the photos uploaded are shared in a fair, inclusive and comprehensive way.
