Do you want to gather Wikipedians for events? Do you want to encourage new Wikimedians in your city? Do you want the Wikimedia Foundation to pay for cake? This presentation will outline how WikiClub Toronto went from a club that went dormant from COVID-19 to a thriving community. We will showcase possible events you can organise, how to get money, how to advertise your event to target Wikimedians in your city, and give time for editors to network with others in their city. Afterwards, we will break up into small groups so that Wikimedians can network with others in their area and brainstorm creating an event together.
You need to log in before contacting the organizer.
