Drawing on the specific threat landscape facing queer and trans contributors, this interactive training will equip LGBTQ+ Wikimedians with the knowledge and practical tools to edit safely, protect their identities, and respond effectively when faced with online harm, especially harassment and doxxing attempts. Over the course of the hour the session will move from awareness to action. Participants leave with a clear understanding of how their current Wikimedia presence may expose them to risk, a concrete set of protective practices they can implement immediately, and more confidence in navigating on-wiki and off-wiki reporting pathways. The training is designed to be accessible to editors at all technical levels. We will focus on the following themes: * Understanding the threat landscape * Account and identity hygiene * Device and network security * Harassment response * Community and structural protections (incl. UCOC, WMF escalation pathways)
