Wikidata is structured, but the structure is very loose, which has its pros and cons. Systemic analyses of Wikidata and structured fixes sometimes cause concerns of making Wikidata rigid. Queer approaches to knowledge representation emphasize pluralistic and diversely expressive methods. There may seem to be a conflict between these two approaches, but I will argue that better formalisation will allow Wikidata to be more expressive, not less. Fixing issues in very high level structures, like class/instance mismatches, or bad subclass hierarchies, makes us much more able to represent info in detail, which allows for structured info to better reflect queer existence. Constraints in representing sexual orientation, gender, and other relevant concepts, can be very discriminatory if not done well, but in the case that they are done well, they are actually helpful in keeping data clean, and to include newcomers in knowledge representation efforts. <br>
