On English Wikipedia, featured articles are the highest-reviewed articles. Every day, one article is selected as "Today's Featured Article" which appears on the main page, garnering thousands of views. In this talk, we will discuss strategies for finding sources, formatting articles, copyediting in Wikiprose, tools and scripts that highlight article concerns (and how to fix them), and the Featured Article Candidates progress. The talk will also describe how to review featured article candidates and the featured article criteria. The speaker will outline how to maintain the article after promoted and how to nominate an article for Today's Featured Article. After the presentation and Q&A, editors can work with experienced FA editors for in-person feedback on how to improve their articles.
