This session shows how Global Voices and Wikipedia work together to support Malagasy language and stories online. It highlights how two organizations with the same goalpromoting language diversity can collaborate to have a stronger impact. We will share simple examples of community work, where volunteers create and improve content about Madagascar in Malagasy. The session also explores common challenges, like limited internet access and language barriers, and how collaboration helps overcome them. Participants will learn easy ways to build partnerships, support local voices, and grow digital communities. The goal is to show that working together makes it easier to protect and promote Malagasy language and culture online.
