Maximizing the effects of Wikisource workshops about women writers
The goal of this session is to **establish guidelines to organize successful Wikisource workshops**.
The participants will contribute ideas on three groups of indicators of success: attractivity of the workshops, quality of contributions and fidelity of users and to animate a hybrid community which contributes both in face-to-face events and online.
* **Attractivity of the workshops** include various means to improve the diversity and the size of the audience, such as the chosen location, the chosen books to proofread as well as the communication on various channels.
* Ensuring the **quality of contributions** includes choosing relevant editions for the books to work on, providing an efficient training for both unexperienced and experienced users, reviewing contributions and answering questions, and more generally supporting participants after the workshop and encouraging them to come back.
* Finally, providing a welcoming, inclusive and caring atmosphere during the event to create bonds between participants to allow everyone to interact freely. Discussions about relevant key performances indicators will be useful to evaluate the **fidelity of users**.
Using post-its, the participants will **share ideas** on which initiatives to implement and which metrics to use for the evaluation of success or progress.
Association Le deuxième texte will then **provide a guide** summarizing all ideas shared during the session.
