Kurier, Signpost, wikipress: You can be a Wikimedia journalist

Wikimedia volunteers publish community newspapers, such as German Wikipedia's *Kurier*, English Wikipedia's *The Signpost,* French Wikipedia's *RAW,* French Wiktionary's *Actualités*.
Besides these, Wikimedians present numerous newsletters to alert interest groups of project developments, community accomplishments, available shared resources, and to raise attention to social and ethical issues. Examples of popular newsletters include updates from Wikidata and Outreach.
This workshop will include brief presentations from regular contributors to Wikimedia newspapers and newsletters, then engage attendees to contribute their own news for publication. Could be existing ones or to build a new one, like for Wikisource for example.
Options for contributing will include writing community notices for publications to share, starting the submission process to get editorial review for longer articles which you may wish to develop, or just talking with editors and contributors of publications who may be in the room.
Your favorite community publications will be at this workshop! Also, you are a journalist, and you have freedom to share information as Wikipedia community news, or elsewhere in Wikimedia projects. Editing Wikipedia is not a crime!
