Educational program during university lockdown

In Serbia, in 2025, university and faculty blockades occurred across the country. The blockades were caused by dissatisfaction among students, citizens, and the academic community with the political situation in the country. This situation significantly affected the educational program of Wikimedia Serbia and, therefore, its metrics. Within the Educational Program, the *Wikipedia in Schools* program was implemented on a reduced scale due to the suspension of work of a large number of educational institutions, but activities were successfully continued when conditions allowed. This lecture is on how to do a more flexible approach to the goals of the Educational Program by observing education outside the framework of standardized schooling, such as working with older community members, volunteer groups, and members of the international community. However, in an environment of socio-political instability, the stagnation in educational institutions is inevitably reflected in the work of institutions related to the development of culture and science. Therefore, it is also necessary to emphasize the importance of free knowledge and the importance of the concept of lifelong learning in moments of socio-political stability.
