How Wikipedia is seen through the eyes of social media superstars

By July, 30+ content creators will have developed 140+ videos for Wikipedia's social channels (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube). Wikimania will be a great opportunity to reflect on these efforts together with Wikimedians.
To illustrate the connection between our work, our community, and the future of our movement, the Social team at the Wikimedia Foundation will present our creator strategy – how we intentionally collaborate with creators from diverse backgrounds and cultures, empowering them to interpret and express Wikipedia through their own unique perspectives.
Here are some questions that we hope to answer with this session:
* How do we select creators to partner with? And how can they help champion our mission on social media?
* How can the creators' interpretations of Wikipedia help inform the future of our movement?
* How can collaboration with creators elevate our message to young generations of Wikimedians?
* How can our community be inspired by and learn from these experts?
