I have been a contributor to Ukrainian Wikipedia since April 2018. I have participated in numerous themed weeks, months, marathons and competitions, wiki competitions and projects, including WikiGap Challenge, She Did It, CEE Spring, and Wikipedia for School. Every year, I take part in the Wiki Loves Monuments and Wiki Loves Earth photo contests. I also took part in the 2022 scientific photography contest in Ukraine and won the ‘Wiki Loves Folklore’ photo contest. Every year since 2018, I have won one of the categories in the international Wiki Loves Monuments contest. Co-organiser of Switzerland Week 2025 on Ukrainian Wikipedia, organiser of Wikimarathons. Abstract
The full-scale war in Ukraine has radically changed the life of the wiki community, but at the same time it has become a catalyst for women's solidarity. In our presentation, we will talk about how Ukrainian female Wikipedians and educators — despite shelling, blackouts, and forced displacement — not only continue their volunteer work on Wikipedia, but also create sustainable networks of mutual support.

The presentation directly corresponds to the main theme of Wikimania 2026 in Paris — ‘Liberté, Égalité, Fiabilité’ — revealing it through the unique experience of collaboration between female Wikipedians and educators from the Ukrainian wiki community.
This content will be useful for wiki communities in conflict zones, leaders of gender initiatives, and female Wikipedians who are educators, as it shows how to develop Wikipedia through female solidarity and joint projects. The presentation will reveal how the combined efforts of female Wiki educators not only help to survive the crisis, but also transform Wikipedia into a safe space for supporting students and jointly filling the online encyclopaedia with content.
